George Soros has moved to Texas in the form of a PAC. Since late 2017, through the Texas Justice & Public Safety PAC, Soros has funded a crime wave by supporting Marxist district attorney candidates in Texas’s major urban areas. To be sure, this effort by Soros is meant to do one thing: make us less safe by defunding the police, closing jails, and empowering criminals.

The PAC’s address: 500 North Akard Street, Suite 3300, Dallas, Texas. The home of Perkins Coie – the Hillary Clinton presidential campaign’s law firm responsible for the false Steele dossier via Fusion GPS against President Donald Trump. Yes, Perkins Coie has a Texas presence. The PAC’s treasurer is Whitney Tymas, director of the Vera Institute’s Prosecution and Racial Justice Program. Tymas supports the reimagining of law enforcement and a new vision of the prosecutor’s role. Texas Justice & Public Safety PAC is a member of a network of state political action committees that recruits, vets, and conducts research and polling on Marxist district attorney candidates and supports them with television ads.

Now, in this election, Soros is using his money to elect his new best bud, Slick Sean Teare, Kim Ogg’s opponent. Did anyone tell Soros that Sean Teare has a Republican voting history? Soros seeks to finally own Texas’s largest county, Harris. Soros wants to discard crime victims, empower public corruption, and give the keys to the courthouse to criminals. Teare’s entire campaign is built on endorsements from public officials under criminal investigation and facing corruption allegations and they want to stop all investigations into their corruption. Teare proudly advertises these endorsements.

All of the Pagan, Marxist rags like Texas Tribune, Texas Monthly, and Houston Chronicle have openly embraced the Soros narrative about our criminal justice system. Facts be damned. They are strategically working with Harris County leaders to make us unsafe.

The knives are out for Kim Ogg because she dares support crime victims through law and order policies that promote a healthy, safe community. She dares investigate public corruption. Notice that the Pagan, Marxist propagandists do not say that the allegations against Ellis, Hidalgo, and Turner are wrong. These are same people who supported the censure of Ogg by the Harris County Democratic Party. Did anyone tell these little progressive Marxists about Sean Teare’s Republican voting history? Oh my God, he shouldn’t be allowed to work on any of these corruption cases – he’s a Republican! Call 911 now! Call the Chronicle!🚨

What does this mean for you? This means more criminals committing crimes while out on bond and no accountability for that conduct. No more jail. No more death penalty. Don’t worry about jury duty because there will be no more trials. No more three strikes and you’re out. And, more of this:

On Sylvester Turner’s watch, the Houston Police Department stopped investigating sexual assault cases. This is just one example among many of a dangerous Marxist ideology that Teare and Soros wish to impose on Harris County, Texas.

Sean Teare’s History

Let’s talk about Sean Teare’s history. Teare joined the Harris County District Attorney’s Office after law school (right about the time he voted in the 2008 Republican primary) and left in 2010 to become a plaintiffs’ lawyer. When Kim Ogg won in 2016, Teare ingratiated himself with Ogg and begged to join her administration as the head of vehicular crimes and that is where he worked from 2016-2023. In vehicular crimes, Teare would respond to accident scenes and work with law enforcement. Part of this job included investigating bars for overservice of alcohol. Based on Teare’s campaign finance reports, maybe he is continuing this work.

Teare abruptly left the DA’s Office last year, joined Dan Cogdell’s law firm, and announced his candidacy for DA. Quickly, it was revealed that Teare made a sweetheart plea deal on a fatality case as he moonwalked out the door. Specifically, Teare made an inappropriate plea offer of pretrial intervention on a case that was not assigned to him to benefit a defendant represented by Chip Lewis and one of his assistants, Lauren Byrne. Lewis and Byrne are office mates with the star of the Paxton impeachment, Erin Epley, after Rusty rested. Is this some of the integrity that we heard about?

If that alarm wasn’t loud enough, Teare received a $500,000 campaign contribution from a structured settlement guy. Think about that for a second. Why would a structured settlement guy give half a million dollars to a district attorney candidate? What a morale booster! What an honest broker!

Financial history of the Soros PAC: 2018 Reported Activity

The very first campaign finance report filed (January 15, 2018) showed an expenditure to Sourced Strategies in Indianapolis, Indiana to support Joe Gonzales for Bexar County District Attorney. 

The next report (30-day 2018 primary) listed a $90,000 contribution from George Soros and expenditures of $121,307.27 in support of Joe Gonzales for Bexar County District Attorney and Texas Organizing Project PAC.

The 8-day 2018 primary report was filed three times (original + two corrections). The file 8 day 2018 primary report showed a $950,000 contribution from George Soros and $1,133,388.50 expended in support of Joe Gonzales for Bexar County District Attorney, Real Justice PAC, and Texas Organizing Project PAC.

The July 15, 2018 report showed $155,000 from George Soros and $167,122.21 expended in support of Joe Gonzales for Bexar County District Attorney.

The 30-day 2018 general report listed contributions totaling $1,235,000 from George Soros and expenditures of $188,373.85 in support of four district attorney candidates: John Creuzot (Dallas), Joe Gonzales (Bexar), Brian Middleton (Fort Bend), Albert Roberts (Tarrant).

The 8-day 2018 general report listed a contribution of $390,000 from George Soros and expenditures of $1,757,057.74 in support of four district attorney candidates: John Creuzot (Dallas), Joe Gonzales (Bexar), Brian Middleton (Fort Bend), and Albert Roberts (Tarrant).

2019 Reported Activity

The January 15, 2019 report showed a $190,000 contribution from George Soros and expenditures totaling $479,326.03 in support of three district attorney candidates: John Creuzot (Dallas), Joe Gonzales (Bexar), and Brian Middleton (Fort Bend).

The July 15, 2019 report showed no contributions and expenditures totaling $11,649.06 primarily in support of Brian Middleton (Fort Bend).

2020 Reported Activity

The January 15, 2020 report showed no contributions and expenditures totaling $15,050 for research and bank fees.

The 30-day 2020 primary report showed no contributions and expenditures totaling $46,940.42 for polling and research.

The 8-day 2020 primary report showed no contributions and expenditures totaling $190,559.80 in opposition of Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg.

A report filed on February 24, 2020 listed over $19,000 in expenditures (likely in opposition of Ogg).

A report filed on July 8, 2020 listed an expenditure of $43,191.20 in support of José Garza (Travis County).

A report filed on September 25, 2020 (marked as a dissolution report) listed $17,862.86 in contributions from George Soros and $199,249.50 in contributions in support of José Garza (Travis County).

The January 15, 2024 report lists a $62,000 contribution from George Soros and $60,665.04 in expenditures in support of Sean Teare (Harris County) and Texas Organizing Project PAC for research and polling.

The 30-day 2024 primary report lists a $37,200 in kind contribution from the José Garza Campaign for polling in support of Sean Teare (Harris County).
